7th Grade Advanced Literature
|
The seventh grade literature class explores a variety of literary works centered on the basic theme of conflict resolution. Students engage in meaningful written and verbal dialogue about moral issues and their implications. They grow as critical readers and writers through exploration of a variety of genres. The curriculum utilizes McDougal Littell’s The Language of Literature textbook and supplemental materials. Students are encouraged to become life-long readers through an independent reading assignment.
