Science Fair
Projects and Events
Grey Nun Academy presents a Science Fair every three years so each student during their Upper Division experience has an opportunity to explore a research topic in depth. The next Science Fair is tentatively planned for the 2009-2010 school year. It is planned as both a school day and an evening event. All students will be participating in some way regardless of grade level, i.e. in a pairing partner activity, in attending lessons given by personnel from local nature centers, or in participating in demonstrations given by parent volunteers.
Upper division students will be required to present a science project for the fair. Primary and Middle Division students will be invited to participate if they wish to prepare an experiment and display their results for the fair. The Science Fair entries will not be competitively judged for prizes. All students displaying a project will receive a certificate of participation.
