The Challenge Program at Grey Nun Academy provides an opportunity for students who have been identified as gifted to expand their academic horizons.  Students who have been identified to participate in the program receive two class periods of enrichment twice a week, in addition to the challenging curriculum each Grey Nun Academy student already experiences.

The Challenge Program began in 1981 when Grey Nun Academy was first accredited by the Middle States Association of Elementary Schools.  This organization encouraged GNA to provide for the intellectually gifted students by developing specific programming to meet their needs.  Students, faculty, teachers, parents and other faculty members may request that a student be evaluated for possible participation in the program.
