As a Catholic educational institution, the academy provides religious programs which clearly articulate the moral standards that are implicit in all learning, and attempt to make Gospel values real to all our students.

The following are goals which we have accepted as our particular challenge:

  • Cultivate a responsible concern for and a sense of obligation to promote the dignity of human life.

  • Develop an appreciation of and respect for the earth's goods as belonging to each of us as responsible stewards.

  • Foster an open-hearted involvement allowing us to stand in union with those in need.

  • Encourage the qualities of a peacemaker:  openness, trust and commitment.

The religious education coordinator, with assistance from teachers, students and the Home/School Spiritual Life Committee, plans prayer services, para-liturgical services, and outreach activities throughout the school year.

Please contact our head of Religious Education with any questions about the religious program at Grey Nun Academy- Sue Bruswitz.
