Welcome to Grey Nun Academy's Admissions Page. We are pleased to be of service to you as you consider enrolling your child or children into Grey Nun Academy School.

  • Pre-K – Applicants must be four years of age on or before September 1st.; ;An informal assessment, completed by our Pre-K teacher and our Guidance Counselor, at no charge, is required of these children.
  • Kindergarten – Applicants must be five years of age on or before September 1st.
  • Kindergarten through Eighth Grade – A formal assessment, completed by an independent consultant, is required of these students. ;Information concerning testing fee is available from the school office. ;(If desired a verbal report will be shared with you.); ;Applicants must also submit additional information as requested for each grade level. (e.g. achievement test scores, present school records, teacher evaluation and parental form indicating each child's potential, strengths and weaknesses, and health records.
  • A visit, interview and tour of the facility with the Assistant Principal.
  • An application form completed in full and returned to Grey Nun Academy with the non-refundable application fee of $50.
  • All applicants visit the school and participate in class. The length of the visit depends upon the grade to which the student is applying.
  • A prospective student is placed on the Registration List based on the date that his/her registration form and fee are received in the office.
  • A student moves from the registration list to the admissions list when his/her folder is complete. A folder is considered complete when it contains:
  • Registration form
  • Certificate of Immunization and Medical History Report
  • Current teacher comment sheet
  • Parent Questionnaire
  • Student Questionnaire (Grades 3-8)
  • School Records
  • Independent testing results
  • Classroom visitation
  • The folder of a prospective student is reviewed for an acceptance decision by the Principal, Assistant Principal, Guidance Counselor and prospective teacher upon completion of all necessary data.
  • Parents are notified of an acceptance decision and offered a class placement (or placed on a Waiting List if no placement is available) based on the priority established by the date of registration and the timely return of requested information.
